Borrowed Inspiration

I usually tend to be a purist when it comes to painting. I only paint from my own photographs. The below picture is an exception it was painted from another artists photograph. However the picture has been altered and interpreted enough that it barely resembles the original photograph. I always have enjoyed visiting California and I hope you enjoy this painting of the wine country.
