There was a point where I was not going to paint the same picture twice. First of all any picture that I sold I wanted it to be a "True Original" meaning that I would only offer that view/subject matter once. After some problems with my first version of this painting were pointed out...........I decided to repaint the same subject.
I took to heart the critique that I received. On showing this second painting to my good friend, Cliff Gillock, he offered a few "suggestions" that might improve this version. Today I did another revision and I must admit the suggestions did improve the picture. Some light strokes of sky in the water where the trees are reflected and remove the uniform tree line and make it more irregular. Done.
