Final Revision - Buffalo Bayou

One of my personal favorite paintings is a square one of Buffalo Bayou. It is about three years old. I had entered it into one of the earlier HCAA Open Shows and during the critique phase I was advised that the picture was a "Contender" for 1st Place in the Non-Professional show but..............there was a small 2 x 2 inch area that lacked some compositional integrity. I accepted that appraisal and have proudly displayed the painting without taking any remedial action. Last night I painstakingly corrected the compositional confusion. It took about two hours and eight brushes to surgically enhance this picture to what I consider one of my "Best Works" to date. Here is "Buffalo Bayou" in its final revised state.
