"Where The Alligators Live" recently sold at a charity auction to my friend named "Millie". I am quite pleased that she has added this to her art collection and I wanted to take a moment to thank her for the purchase. All of the proceeds were donated to the Bellaire Parks. To me this painting reflects the essence of the stillness on an August afternoon at Brazos Bend State Park. There is the lush green vegetation all around and if you carefully watch the lily-pad covered lagoons you will notice small movements as the lily-pads are parted by some of the lumbering alligators.
