I had actually framed my two small studies of the Bridge (South Polk Street) going into Jefferson, Texas. Perhaps because they were framed and hung where I could see them I became painfully aware of areas on these paintings that could use some rework or adjustments. I had a limited amount of time to paint this past Sunday so I decided to take these two small studies to task. I changed a clump of trees that bordered the left on the High Key one and on the Low Key one I did some extensive rework to bring the value of the painting up to a lighter state.
