It is Thursday and painting was a red letter day or I should say a Green Letter Day. I have struggled to get some serious dark greens into this picture. This evening I realized that I have been trying to do this with a very light shade of Ultramarine Blue. I tried three additions brands and was able to achieve the deep green that I was looking for. This particular painting is fashioned after the shallows at Marble Falls. I hope you enjoy the painting.
