The Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday preempted my painting session. I did manage to paint on Tuesday Evening. I had a great photograph from when I visited Watkin's Glen State Park in New York. I was apprehensive that this photograph would translate into a painting. There was alot of stratiated rock. I stuck to the principles of painting the larger shapes and to my amazement this is the painting that evolved. With the holiday weekend I am more committed about keeping my blog up weekly as I am painting.
