It was a bit hot today but I managed to get out on the patio and work on a painting from a trip to Tahoe. The picture I was working from was taken on one of the wilderness trails outside of Tahoe. I believe this might have been on the way to Eagle Lake. In any case I got to paint and that was the highlight of the weekend.
This picture was challenging but I am pretty happy with the results. I may try and paint this again on a 16 x 20 rather than the square format of 16 x 16.
