This has been a busy time. Alot to do and not as much time to paint as I would like. For me painting is a great escape. I feel that it has been too long since I have put up any posts. So I am putting up a work in progress. I have been reading a book on the use of color by Dan Bartges called "Color is Everything". In one sense the book is making me very aware of color choices. So I struggle with the thought of "Over-Analysis". On the other hand my paintings move further away from "Happy-Stance" where something that looks good happen by accident but is difficult if not impossible to repeat. In any case this is a picture that has been blocked in and where I experimented with putting in some fall foliage which I will work on refining.
