It has been awhile since I have put a new picture up on the blog. Life got in the middle of things and although I have been painting I have had some computer challenges that have kept me away. In any case I painted the above scene twice. The first time it turned out very much like a "tonalist" painting. This time it has a bit more color. I was concerned that this scene would not make a very good painting but I have been pleasantly surprised with the outcome. This winery is outside of San Diego so it is a much dryer desert looking area than when one travels to Northern California. Hope you enjoy it.
